Regenerative X Attends First Ever Malaysian Urban Forum in Sarawak

On November 5th, 2023, Regenerative X participated in the Malaysia Urban Forum 2023 at the Old Court House where entrepreneurs, experts, and business enthusiasts gathered for a Business Assembly focused on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) towards sustainable and shared prosperity. Just two days later, on November 7th, Regenerative X were present at the Hikmah Exchange Event Center for the same forum. This prestigious event brought together individuals and organizations dedicated to the cause of urban sustainability and a greener future.

Regenerative X had the honor of meeting distinguished individuals, including Deputy Premier YB Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration, and Environment Ministry of Natural Resources & Urban Development, Sarawak YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh. The discussions at the forum revolved around making cities better places to live. Regenerative X also took part in Special Session 10 at MUF 2023, where they gained profound insights into the impacts of climate change on marginalized communities. Experts like Dr. Nurlina from Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang showcased innovative urban farming initiatives that empower communities with adaptive strategies. Datuk Khamarrul Azahari of the DPPC at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia presented vital climate change statistics and data, deepening understanding of the issue.
